The Wisdom of The Pause
Give me time…
time to be with myself, to listen to what my spirit, my mind, and my body are saying.
In this great wheel 🌎 everything resonates, but you can only perceive it when you become still.
I have observed for a long time how nature takes pauses. It does not rush. It rests, withdraws, lets go of what has already been… and then it greens again with more strength, more energy, more love. Always in connection with what is available, always in the present.
Nature does not resist its cycles. It trusts.
And in that trust, it blooms.
This pause is something I have also learned through ceremonially living my life.
The time of the vision quest taught me to be with myself in stillness, without the expectation of a great revelation… other than the willingness to look within.
In the Sun Dance, I have learned many things, but something very clear has been the ability to hold a prayer in community;
to be present not only for myself, but for the continuity of an ancestral prayer.
Perhaps that is also what our process is about…
allowing ourselves to pause, to let go, to listen…
so we can return to ourselves more whole, more balanced, more alive.
Because regeneration does not happen in haste, but in the space we give ourselves.
And you, what do you do to restore, to reframe, and to regreen your life? 🌱
We are entering a new autumn…
what will you release?
what will you let go of? 🍂
I feel happy, I love autumn.
My mother and my son were both born in this season.
It is a celebration that we are alive.
