Handcrafted Waist Medicine Pouch

$139.00

Handcrafted Leather Ceremonial Pouch

This handcrafted leather medicine belt bag is designed to be worn securely around the waist, keeping essential items close while allowing freedom of movement.

Made from genuine cow leather and finished with hand-stitched edging and traditional leather fringe, each piece reflects the skill and care of the artisans who create them.

The front panel carries a geometric motif inspired by traditional Andean symbolism, framed with braided leather and a central stone. In this design the pattern reflects the Chakana (Andean Cross); a symbol often associated with balance, connection, and the relationship between the physical and spiritual worlds in short. At a more complex level the Chakana describes a large majority of the Andean Cosmovision.

The adjustable belt allows the pouch to sit comfortably at the waist during ceremony, travel, or everyday movement.

Traditionally these bags are used to carry items held in prayer or personal practice; medicines, small tools, and objects that one wishes to keep close.

Built for real use around ceremony and daily life.

Ideal for carrying

* Sacred herbs such as cedar or copal

* Small ceremonial tools
