Ceremony does not begin when we gather or purchase a sacred item.
It begins in relationship.
With land.
With lineage.
With the hands that create what we carry into sacred space.

Wakan Wasi Ñuke means Sacred Home of the Mother.

This store and collection exists as a bridge
rooted in reciprocity, grounded in ceremony, and carried through relationship.

Each piece you find here is made by hand,
chosen with care,
and sourced directly from the communities who continue these traditions.

We don’t sell trends.
We share continuity.

This is not just a store.
It is a living altar, built on trust, ceremony, and relationship.

At Wakan Wasi Ñuke, each piece begins long before it reaches you.
In the hands of a weaver.
In the roots of a tree.
In the quiet preparation of a tool.

These are not souvenirs.
They are tools meant to be used.
Worn. Burned. Carried. Sat with.

Around the fire.
In the lodge.
In your home between gatherings.

Some of you sit with us in ceremony.
Some of you walk this path in other ways or with different families.

Still, we share the same ground.
The same sky.
The same breath moving through trees and lungs alike.

These ways remind us, we are relatives and that as relatives…

We honour the hands that make.
We honour the land that gives.
And we honour the exchange, rooted in Ayni (sacred reciprocity), offered with love, and carried forward by those who use these tools with intention

White Copal - Sacred Resin of Prayer

Copal has been burned in ceremony across Mexico and Mesoamerica for centuries.

Harvested from the resin of living trees, it has long been offered in temples, homes, and ceremonial spaces as a way of cleansing the environment and carrying prayer.

When placed on charcoal or the stones within the temazcal, white copal releases a bright, uplifting smoke traditionally understood to purify the space and open a clear channel for intention.

In many traditions, copal is seen as a messenger between worlds, the smoke carrying prayers from the physical realm into the unseen.

White copal is often associated with clarity, lightness, and spiritual connection. Its fragrance is sweet and expansive, making it a common choice when preparing a space for prayer, meditation, or ceremony.

While white copal tends to lift and open the space, its darker counterpart, black copal is traditionally used when a deeper clearing or grounding presence is needed.

This resin is sourced from Mexico and offered in its natural form.
